Almost all translations are available now. Although not foreseen in the project application we decided to also translate everything in French,thus opening the material for even more pupils in Europe. The spatial thinking tests are already available in French, the lessons will follow soon. So everything will be in Dutch, English, French, German, Romanian &…
The final outcomes of the project will be presented at a final 1-day conference in Ghent, Friday 15 June 2018. Location is Het Pand in the city centre.
End of February all pupils being involved in the 3 years lifespan of the project will meet in Madrid. They will also work on new materials and write parts of the final publication.
On Tuesday 24 May GI-Learner was asked to present the project to an audience of PhD-students, teaching assistants and professors of Iasi University, Romania, Geography-Geomatics department.
GI Learner is presenting at the Geography Teacher Educators conference in Plymouth, UK, on Sunday 30 January.
A full state-of-the-art literature review on (geo)spatial thinking is one of the outcomes of the project, as this forms the scientific foundation on which we build further it wa simportant that the review is solid and up-to-date. You can download it under Publications. a full rep24
