At the conference in Amsterdam a big audience attended the presentation of GI Learner.
The students involved in the project were the ‘guinea pigs’ of the project. There role was double: Making it possible for the project to assess the progress from the beginning to the end of the project (summative evaluation) through self-evaluation tests, and give feedback on the first version of the lesson modules. A full state-of-the-art literature review on (geo)spatial thinking is one of the outcomes of the project, as this forms the scientific foundation on which we build further it wa simportant that the review is solid and up-to-date. You can download it under Publications. a full rep24
GI Learner is entering it’s last project year. In this year the pupils of the 5 different schools that have been testing the materials will meet in Madrid, and write a part of the final report. The materials are growing, so stay tuned to our project.

On Tuesday 24 May GI-Learner was asked to present the project to an audience of PhD-students, teaching assistants and professors of Iasi University, Romania, Geography-Geomatics department.
